Our
Story

I’m not sure where to start… Nick has been having pain for a little over a month. He thought it was his gallbladder so he went to the doctor and they scheduled an ultrasound for a couple weeks out. That was set to take place on Halloween.
Throughout the next couple of weeks the pain in his abdomen increased rapidly. So much so that on Monday the 30th we went to the emergency room.
They discovered a mass on his kidney, masses in his liver, and spots on both lungs. He’s been diagnosed with nephroblastoma, or Wilms Tumor. It’s a rare cancer for adults, normally found in children.
We’d like to thank everyone who has been so wonderful to us throughout the last 10 days. Words cannot express our gratitude. The outpouring of love we’ve received is truly overwhelming.
We are taking every step to ensure he gets the best care possible. He will kick cancer’s ass. There iS no other option.
In the meantime, please say a prayer for our little family ♥️

I’ve tried to put into words what you mean to to me a hundred times. I don’t have anything eloquent to say. It wouldn’t do you justice anyway. I can’t process a world without you in it. I don’t want to. Sully doesn’t want to. You fought so hard handsome. No one should ever have to endure the pain you went through. You are my hero and I will tell Sully about you every day. I’ll tell him how much you love him. How excited you are to be his Daddy. I’ll tell him how funny you are. I’ll tell him how much you love me. Almost as much as I love you! You can rest now baby. I will see you in my dreams. 💔
